Capitec have no credibility and are ******* and *****

Capitec literally took my money and refuse to immediately rectify. On the 1st of Jan 2020 i received an sms notification for a card transaction worth R300 in Diepkloof, Gauteng. On this day. I was in East London and had R0 in my Capitec savings acc so this was obviously in error. Immediately after that, Capitec sent an sms acknowledging there were aware of the erroneous transaction on my card from external parties and would resolve within 72 hours. I believe them and didn't think to follow up as I had no money in my account at that time. Well yesterday someone deposited R600 into my account and the amount of R300 was immediately deducted by Capitec. I called 3 times yesterday using R60 worth of airtime and i kept getting different stories as to why with no immediate solution and i kept being puy on hold. 3 things could not be answered:Why did I receive a notification of a card purchase ON MY CARD happening in another province while i was a thousand ks away, How could I even have swiped R300 with R0 in my account as this is a Savings account and can't be overdrawn and thirdly Capitec acknowledged the mistake ans promised to resolve within 72 hours on 01 Jan so why haven't they and why do I have to chase them now?????? They have lost all credibility with me and will be closing my account as soon as I get my money. It's a shame because I was considering moving my salary and all dr orders to them but I will stay with Std Bank and am happy to pay higher fees for efficiency and peace of mind.

Reviewer Update
Update: After my initial review I decided to go straight to my nearest Capitec bank branch since calling the call centre didn't get me anywhere, I went on Sunday morning at 11am. The consultant who assisted me at the branch didn't come across as professional at all because when she called their customer care line she was laughing and giggling with a "Gary" on the other end of the line and I could hear references to "East London" so obviously their conversation was around my case and I found that to be highly inappropriate as I was sitting in front of her with a serious problem and it seemed that they were not taking it seriously. After that phone conversation I was promised that my money would definitely be refunded into my account within 30 min to an hour. I asked what I should do if it's not reflecting then but the consultant assured me it would reflect then without question...Well I checked after the hour and it wasn't. I kept checking the whole of Sunday and it still wasn't refunded. I only received the money yesterday AFTER my HelloPeter review had been seen and an incident number had been assigned to it. It's a shame that it took that much effort on my side to try and resolve a problem that started with Capitec in the first place. It's funny how Capitec went above and beyond to try to contact me afterwards to do damage control once I posted the review on this site. I have since spoke to Nazley of Capitec's complaint department and indicated that I will go ahead and close my account because the trust in Capitec's brand has been broken but I gave her some pointers on some areas of improvement so the next person doesn't have to experience what I went through.
