Capitec funeral services refused to pay.

Capitec refused to pay a valid funeral payout.

My uncle passed away on February the 3rd , 2024. We then went to Wolmaransstad capitec branch and we were put on the phone with a 3rd party , that told us he hadn’t finished 6 months as yet and he was finishing 6 months the day he passed. We then requested to check when did he take out the policy and found out that 6 months waiting period had passed and they deducted it ,because also their argument was that they had not deducted, the bank statement clearly showed they deducted on the 2nd of February. They refused to pay based on reasons only known by them ,till today the money hasn’t been paid. I have all documentation to back up what I am saying here, beware of capitec funeral services.
