Capitec funeral plan ****

When my father died on the 4th of March, his funeral plan with Capitec bank was 6 months and 3 days old from the cover start date. Capitec refused to pay and have given 3 different reasons on different occasions, reasons which are not on the contract. The day before we buried my father, we had no money to bury my father, we had to beg the funeral parlour to bury my father on credit, my father arrived home late at night which is not according to our tradition, friends and family had to help out financially to cover other funeral costs. Capitec bank humiliated my family by giving reasons which are not on the contract. Currently the matter is with the ombudsman.
