Capitec funeral plan a shame!

Customer Service in South Africa is appalling! Even in time of grieving. The worse part is when you put through a claim and they give you confirmation of your claim stating their condolences as if they mean them. Capitec Bank If you did mean those condolences why am I sitting here with an uncer*****y of not knowing if I will be able to bury my brother this weekend. I put through a claim for my brothers passing on 4th Oct which was Friday morning and today is Tuesday the 8th Oct and I still haven't received a valid reason why my payout is delaying. I must now break the news to my parents that they might not be able to bury their son by the 12th Oct Sat 2019 as planned. We have set the date and even had programs made. Now if the undertaker decides to cancel our business due to no payment and all the other cost implications, who will be liable for all those costs.

To Elna who is supposedly your call centre team leader/ supervisor at the Capitec call centre in Cape Town. You need training for telephone etiquette on how to be patient and empathetic towards a frustrated customer. Don't make it so obvious that you following script. Don't use your emotions when you at work. you will find yourself in trouble lady. I hope your managers listen to that telephone recording when you called me yesterday morning. You are a disgrace!

Capitec Bank I will deal with you and take you to the dry cleaners if you don't step up. My brothers death shall be dignified and it will not be subjected to the unruliness that we face in South Africa.
