CAPITEC FIXED TERM INTEREST RATE ****

I have just been to Capitec to renew my fixed term savings account. I am a pensioner and this is my only income. We agreed with the consultant on re-investment interest rate of 8.89% which is the same as the website, and she pointed it out on the screen .After she printed the agreement for me to sign I noticed a interest rate of 8.55%.When I questioned this she said dont worry about it you will definitively get the higher I must just sign! the agreement.even though I will be earning less each month. The manager tried to convince me but would not put the correct Interest rate on the agreement.I this is not highly irregular? Thanks Capitec for trying to **** me!
