Capitec employees service has dropped
I currently live in Malaysia and have a Capitec account. My father passed away this year and I need a GEPF Z894 document completed by the branch with a stamp that just confirms my banking details. I have had to courier all my original signed documents to my sister which included the Z894 document, my passport copies, ID copies, my electronic account confirmation details from the app as well as a letter giving her authority to act on my behalf with obtaining the information. It has been a nightmare from branch level all the way to client care and forex. I spent lots of money on international calls and get put on hold because nobody knows what is going on. The branch at The Wheel Durban told my sister it's faster if I come in to the branch!! Is this even for real?? I must take a flight and spends R30000 to have a document filled in that is just a confirmation of my details. We have explained to them many times that this isn't giving access to my account but merely a confirmation. As for the Branch manager, all I can say is that Capitec dropped their standards on who they let me a manager, he speaks over you because he thinks he knows everything and is rude. As for Client care and forex, I requested a call back days ago, I got a call from client care that rang for two seconds and cut off, then I received an email stating they tried calling. I rep**** almost immediately telling them that the call rang for a few seconds and cut off and to call me back and to date they didn't care to respond or call back same with forex. If Capitec doesn't want my business, I will certainly go elsewhere and suggest others do the same, the money to be paid is in the millions but seems like Capitec doesn't need my small change. I've been with other major banks and have never had issues like this, reason I chose Capitec because it was internationally friendly but it seems that has changed. If anyone there still cares about your company then email me for my contact number as I am living out of the country
