Capitec employee suspicious behavior

I received a call from a lady claiming to work for Capitec saying she has a payment waiting for me, I asked her for some details, she refused, she said she needs my I.D. I told her I need some details to verify this is for me and she said she won't give me any information without me giving her my I.D. number first, is this bank promoting *****?

if you can't even tell me the company or any details of my payment how am I suppose to know if this is a bank call or not?
