CAPITEC EFT PAYMENT

We made a EFT payment to one of our creditors from Capitec to STB, there were one digit short on the account number (the LAST number), we phoned capitec a few times, they said they will do a recall we phoned 7 days later, we got a sms that said we must phone that number the money went into that account!! How can that be, it was ONE number short, not a wrong number, is Capitec the ONLY bank that approve EFT's with wrong detail??the account name and all was 100% It never happend with ABSA of FNB. Capitec said the lady cant pay us back.... we cant just drop it!!!
