Capitec doesn't know how does power of attorney work. Lost of money due to capitec slow and unprofessional service
Good day. My dad had a stroke on 9 June. There did went a dt order of his account for the amount of R2500. Please note that my dad is still in hospital. I did get an attorney to get power of attorney from my dad on the 12 of July. Another debit order went of 10 July. The bank couldn't help me cause they need the finger print. After several times that I went to capitec a lady contact me to do a video call with my dad that's in hosp. There are no phones allow in the hosp were my dad is. I got eventually hold of the legal department from capitec and a lady went to see my dad at hosp. On the 10 Aug another R2500 dt order went of his account total R7500. Eventually the 1 dt order was reverse after the visit to my dad at the hosp. I did sent several emails to capitec and also went to the branch. Now the 40 days did expire and we can't claim the money back due that capitec that doesn't know how a power of attorney work and because of There slow terrible service. Please see attach ref RE: Automatic reply: Jlb Botha Incident# ***7. I am mr Botha daughter and also have the power of attorney
