Capitec does not care about customer

So this evening while at Gym i see a sms notification from Capitec bank for a debit order of R 150 from insure act .

I have never heard of them and have a broker that looks after our affairs.

I immediately called Capitec and was able to reverse the debit order ... however i had to pay R 40 to reverse the debit order that i never gave authersation for. I told the call centre agent this snd she got stroppie and impatient with me.

I asked her if my money is safe in my account as this incident occurred. She got more impatient and you could clearly hear this in her voice ...

I have always been a supporter of capitec and i am shocked and appalled by this sort of service .. it has put me off the bank. How can a bank that is suppose to protect our money act in such a manner ...

I also explained that this is ***** and that i feel is is unfair that i have to pay R 40 to reverse something that was not even by my doing. She said i have to call the people from insure act and take this matter up with them.

I found several reviews and post regarding insure act and it clearly states on all the post that this is a ********** debit order...

I also requested that a manager should call me regarding this fee ... she said that this is not possible ... i am shocked to say the least ... left an absolute bad taste regarding capitec in my mouth
