CAPITEC CREDIT REHABILITATION DENIAL

I am a client with Capitec and in 2020 I went under Debt Review whilst owing them. However part payment was done monthly until May 15, 2024, I was cleared from Debt Review and a Certificate of Clearance was sent to all creditors and Credit Bureaus by my Debt Councilor. I was sure my financial freedom is back and even arranged to pay more instalment in order to bring account out of areas. Capitec agreed to arrangement of payment of debit orders. To my surprise Capitec has flagged me as a risk on Credit bureau and which I am disadvantaged because of that. I have been in consultation with their Debt Rehabilitation Department to clear whatever they have put but they refuse citing that I have arrears, nevertheless that I am even paying more that the amount agreed upon when I took a loan. Instead, I get SMSs or calls that say I can pay R78 000.00 to settle the amount. I am just pleading with them if they block me from accessing credit with other banks how will I settle this account, also noting that my effort to pay that loan more is not appreciated. Today I spoke to one of their consultants who bluntly told me there is nothing they can do I must pay up or face the consequences. All I was asking Capitec was remove the red flag as I am no longer under Debt Review and remove the risk factor you put under my name as I have an opportunity now to do better. I have shared the Certificate of Clearance and Court orders but it doesn't help. I am pleading for your intervention as I am paying Capitec monthly, but their red flag is causing a lot of damage on my credit profile as other creditors have accepted my exception. I need this matter to be resolved I cannot be red flagged for areas that we officially arranged and are still being paid no default was done intentionally. I am prepared to submit anything to make sure the matter is resolved
