Capitec credit card not closed after 3 full months!

I closed my capitec in February 2020 and paid the settlement amount. The irritating thing is Capitec keeps on calling me about an outstanding amount which seems to attract interest and insurance at a crazy rate. I tried to pay off this amount but the credit card is closed, so i cant make a payment towards it.

I have raised the issue with Capitec and they promised to investigate and rectify the matter but to this day, I am still getting a call from the collections department, telling me to pay up but never know how to assist.

I am really irritated! At this rate, Hello Peter seems like the only language they understand!
