Capitec Connect : Not quite Connected and some missing money

Capitec Connect Advertises cellular services that it does not provide. Capitec also deducts undisclosed fees and hides these amounts which do not appear on statements. Their Connect advertising promises a lot but they neglect to mention that their connectivity is limited to the outdated LTE. Their R5 SIM cost is accompanied by a R25 fee that is not mentioned upfront but more curiously it is not disclosed by the bank-staff or on its statements. What could amount to around 155MR is earning money for Capitec but what was this sneaky deduction and where is the money? In the mean time I will try get my Apps to work on false promises.

Dear Capitec. I am not surprised that you hid your response to my complaint as it is as ********** as the issues I raised above. Yes, ***** is a strong accusation and I believe Capitec has deliberately and repeatedly **** and misrepresented itself for financial gain. I repeat;
  • Your Connect cellular offering deliberately conceals the fact that the network connection is limited to LTE or older connections such as 3G and 2G.
  • Besides this omission you deliberately advertise 4G ! on your offering which is patently false.
  • Quite bizarrely in the reply to this complaint, which you hid from the public, you go further with the deceit and claim 5G! connectivity.
  • Nowhere in the WesternCape (and I have tested and have proof) is there any 4G or 5G connectivity
  • Your Agent that dealt with this claim admitted to me that Capitec only had a maximum connectivity of LTE but that it was "almost " 4G. This conversation was recorded and I challenge you to deny it's content.
  • Then there's the "Minimum Balance": Another ********** activity. I asked you where my money was, as well as the potential 155Million ZAR, in "Minimum Balances"and you quickly gave the money back. Where was it and where is the rest of it?
  • A minimum balance belongs in the client's account and it earns interest. Why was this money removed and why was this not reflected on any statement until you were caught out and returned the funds?
  • Where is this money , from all these other accounts, that you have similarly removed "Minimum Balances" and where has the interest been allocated to?
Please do not hide your explanation. Regards, John

I wish to know if this is what Hellopeter has been reduced to by these powerful corporations. No public response from them and then they unilaterally declare the mater resolved and closed. Is that it?
