Capitec collections are a *****

Capitec is ***** don't ever take a loan or trust what the consultant s are advertising . i loaded a debit order with them and switched my salary to capitec yet all my debits never went through i then transfered same day yet I'm on eareas . capitec has proof that even thou debit order was loaded to debit from capitec somehow their debit department didn't they tried to debit on an account that the consulted adviced me to close since capitec will debit from the new account ..im now struggling to get a car and im a single mother of three boys .my life is becoming a mess ,school transport is expensive and capitec keeps telling me i must call Cat and send proof ,they refusing to take accountability for their mistake . if anyone know a good lawyer please refere me cause i really want to sue capitec for messing up my credit record . and now they keep doing loan request to check where erears appears that's misusing credit scores also . and they also refusing me to open a formal complained against the consulted who was assisting me with debit order switches. I have been to 4 capitec branches and all managers confirms that's capitec debit order (collections ) fault cause everything on their system was done correctly . but still the capitec collection and headoffice is refusing to assist me they want me to wait 12months for the eareas to remove it self . yet i never even missed a payment they failed to their job .

Good day, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are truly sorry for the distress and inconvenience this situation has caused you, and we understand how concerning it is when something like this affects your credit profile and daily responsibilities, especially as a parent. Capitec takes feedback of this nature very seriously. While we are unable to resolve account‑specific matters on public platforms, we would like to ensure that your matter is formally assessed and handled through the correct internal processes. Kindly submit your supporting documents and full details (including your ID number and account number) via Client Care (CAT) or request that a branch escalates the matter to Head Office for formal investigation, if this has not already been done. This allows us to verify the debit order instructions, account changes, and any collection activity accurately and fairly. Please note that credit record updates can only be made once an investigation is concluded in line with regulatory and credit bureau processes. We understand this can be frustrating, but it is important that the matter follows the required steps to ensure a correct and lasting resolution. We appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention and encourage you to continue engaging with us through the official channels so we can assist you further.
