capitec Capitalists
I recently experienced a significant change in my banking relationship with Capitec Bank that I feel compelled to share. Initially, I was okay with their customer service and the ease of obtaining credit facilities. However, my opinion has shifted due to recent developments.
Capitec Bank recently decreased my credit facility, citing it as a measure for my financial well-being and protection. While I appreciated their concern, this decision had an unexpected consequence. As a result of the reduced credit facility, my monthly installments have increased significantly, which I feel is a rip-off. I think it's their way of maintaining maximum profit after the recent repo rate cut.
This change has left me somewhat disappointed and frustrated. While I understand the bank's intention to protect my financial health, the sudden increase in monthly payments will put a strain on my budget.
Very disappointed with this practice.
Best regards,
Best regards,
I was happy to receive a call from you stating that there was aa error in your system and that all is okay. I indicated to the lady to say but the App still shows an inflated amount and she assured me that all is good.
Of course on the 28th last month the normal debit amount was debited, but to my suprise this month's debit was the incorrectly inflated amount. I rep**** to an email you sent to say "resolved" 2 days ago and have since heard no reply.
Can you please fix this and refund me the difference? If you can't fix since the amount your are debiting was actually the maximum in the unreduced limit.
Make me understand how a due to my financial well being can result in increased instalment.
