Capitec breaking the law, contravening POPIA

Capitec refused to update my address to an international address (Where I live full time) and mobile number.

This is breaking the law, and contravening the POPI Act which outline below.

POPIA Section 14 Retention and restriction of records (Source: https://popia.co.za/section-14-retention-and-restriction-of-records/) S14 (6) Cover the following which Standard Bank are wilfully contravening.

*The responsible party must restrict processing of personal information if: its accuracy is contested by the data subject, for a period enabling the responsible party to verify the accuracy of the information; (I have contested this with Capitec Bank) *the responsible party no longer needs the personal information for achieving the purpose for which the information was collected or subsequently processed, but it has to be maintained for purposes of proof; (Capitec Bank still utilises the incorrect address on my statement instead of a new address as requested) *the processing is ******** and the data subject opposes its destruction or deletion and requests the restriction of its use instead; or (I have requested Capitec bank removes the incorrect address repeatedly) *the data subject requests to transmit the personal data into another automated processing system.
