Capitec Breach’s Safety of My Personal Information and Ruins my Credit Score

Capitec’s inefficiencies ruins my credit score. Capitec decided to changed my debit banking details without my knowledge or consent and the debit order bounced. I got to know about this when I received an sms that my account was in arrears. When I called to understand why my account was in areas, I was told their system automatically changed my banking details without even my knowledge or consent. The sad and frustrating thing about this experience is that while they apologies for this mistake this has affected my credit record and they claim that there is nothing the can do to change this.

I now had to sit with the administration of resolving the matter myself and get a new card which I had to pay for. How can you be able to fix ruining my credit score when you changed my banking details without our even my permission. How do I try your system with my information especially with the PoPIA act.
