Capitec branch no longer takes coin deposits and it's now the customers problem.
10 days after sending an email about this to client care I've had no response.
Please bring back your coin depositor machine in your cradlestone branch.
It's unacceptable that a bank can't even take coin deposits... Seriously it's a bank, even a petrol station (which isn't a bank) takes coins.
Worse still is your cradlestone branch had a coin depositor machine which was taken away and no effort was made for customers who need to deposit coins, so now it's the customers problem.
I was told that in the future your ATMs will accept coins. When is this going to be available? And why didn't the branch wait to get these ATMs before taking away their ability to accept coin deposits?
So went to keywest but they had a silly rule of having to count coins to put exact amounts according to the amount specified on the deposit bag. Why can't I/they just accept the amount the coin weights say it is? I'm unhappy that I have to waste my time counting coins when your branch is just going to weigh them anyway. And they would believe their scales over my counting anyway. So why waste the customers time?
Your fees for coin deposits are very high which I'm perfectly happy to pay if I get convince and don't have to waste my time counting. As if I have to count anyway, then I might as well just spend the coins at the shops and get no bank fees.
