Capitec Bank/Thato Mauwane cost me R53 000

on 15.11.18 I went into Capitec Jabalani Branch and was assisted by Thato Mauwane. My request was to make a payment arrangement on my loan after I lost my job on 06.11.18, The request was for me o pay a minimum of R100 per month since I no longer had any other form of income and put on hold some debit orders after I had already made arrangements with those debtors. I learned a couple of days later that Thato had made actions on one incorrect debit order after receiving a text message from Clientele life that my debit order was unsuccessful, my request was to only for her to take actions on Clientele legal, African bank and prime meridian - I quickly corrected that by manually paying that debit order the same day I received the text with Clientele life however the insurance company rejected my claim of R53 000 on 19.11.18 as the debit order was incorrectly reversed by Thato. Furthermore I learned with great disappointment and sadness that the arrangement that I had went to to initially request was not in place after the full monthly loan repayment went off on 7.12.18 and when going into Diepkloof Capitec branch Thenjiwe Sogoni told me that she cannot assist me as there was no arrangement logged on the system. Thenjiwe furthermore told me after calling the collections department that the reason why they went on to debit the full amount was that I put the phone down on them when they call me on 04.12.18, when I asked for a manager from Thenjiwe I was given a pamphlet to get details from for me to escalate further. When I asked what was the reason for collections departement to give me a call on 04.12.18 when there was no arrangement in place Thenjiwe said she does not know and did not bother to find out the reason for their call for my sanity. I now find myself deep in debt because of Capitec bank and struggling to feed my family.

Good afternoon Keshia/Capitec, Following our telephonic conversation your e-mail response is not sufficient as you have not rep**** to one or more of the questions that I have asked, one important question being - " Will I be conversed by the loan insurance that I have been paying since the inception since I was laid-off work?
