Capitec bank worst bank ever

About a year ago, I went under debt review as I have a loan and credit card with Capitec bank. Since a few months ago, neither me nor the debt review company could pay the credit card as it is blocked. After the third time of going into Capitec to query as to why payment cant be made, an Attorney phoned me to inform me Capitec handed me over. I am very upset and the consultant phoned Capitec Head office. They **** and said they phoned to inform me of being handed over, a phone call I never received. My question is, when you are under debt review, may Capitec still hand you over? Are you not supposed to be protected under the credit act?

I have contacted Hammon Pole to make arrangements to make payment. I am now moving to a different bank and will make payments from there.
