Capitec bank **********!! Capitec bank pathetic and worthless bank in South Africa

So 2019 I was pregnant and I never in my life opened an account and had a credit, decided to take a small loan to have credit score with Capitec bank. I app**** and took a R6000 loan, cool fast forward 2020 COVID hit South African, was in a unpaid maternity leave and I was paying my loan with savings and the month I was supposed to return my company closed and totally moved to India headquarters due to bankruptcy cause of Covid-19. Did I not contact Capitec bank request them to freeze my credit and I was left with one payment of R1000 something and they said they will contact me cool, same week I get into a accident and had surgeries, metal plates inserted and all following Month didn’t Capitec bank send smses to pay and called me, I explained I lost my job and they asking me what about UIF, tell them I’m in hospital haven’t app****. They continue calling and texting and increasing R1000 something on a loan I was left with one payment to do. My newborn didn’t have sassa, at labour they were giving me a run around for my UIF cause people could only do it online, never even qualified for R350 grant, lost my job, home all because of a GLOBAL PANDEMIC!!!! My baby eventually got Grant when he was 11 months, lost my job 2020 and only received my UIF 2022 after struggling with the labour department. Capitec bank continued to increase my loan back to R6000 and something and stopped. They didn’t stop it when I was left with one payment, they had to increase back up cause Capitec bank is a money hungry, money crabbing devils! I was trying to build my credit score to open accounts for my child but Capitec bank saw an opportunity to put salt in peoples wounds during a WORLD WIDE GLOBAL!!! PANDEMIC to try and draining people more!!! After being sick, losing jobs, homes . I still have Capitec bank account and I will never use it again, they can close it. And most importantly I will never pay that R6000 something never in my life! There is nothing they can’t take away from me the pandemic hasn’t! I will call till they purple, I won’t change my number. That money hungry devil of bank can catch that 6k in hell. Wish I had an direct email to the CEO just to tell him, he fetch that money from in hell where they belong. I even spoke to them via Twitter and publicly made it they gonna fix it but on the dms it was another story. So if you thinking of opening a Capitec bank account or taking loan, even a home loan don’t!!! Don’t do it!!! Life is unpredictable and you need a bank that would understand that and one thing Covid-19 has taught us, we can plan till we blue on the life but life is unpredictable. Hell will freeze over before I pay that 6k!!!
