CAPITEC BANK REJECTED MY LIFE COVER AS A SUBSTITUTE OF THEIR EXPENSPENSIVE AND UNREASONABLE INSURANCE
Capitec bank's insurance on loan and credit card is very high. I went to challenge them about it and asked them to cancel their insurance on both my loan and credit card and use my life cover as my insurance. I was told that my life cover should cover everything that their insurance covers, then i went back to my life cover and ask them to amend it so that it can cover same things that Capitec insurance covers like permanent disability, retrenchment , death and so forth but they kept on rejecting it. I am paying 700 for a loan which makes it difficult for me to finish up paying the loan. They are ******, i will never recommend them to anyone. I have a car which i purchased through Absa bank and when i went to Capitec to apply for a R100 000 loan to build a house for my parents, Capitec consultant advised me that it is better if they can settle my car with Absa which was then owing R95 000 and only left with three years to pay of which the instalment was gradually decreasing. I feel like am being ******* on a day light *******. I am paying R5 899 00 a month but when i look at my outstanding balance, it' like am not even paying because it doesn't decrease. It is so said and doesn't give peace of mind. During this trying times, i am unable to support my family financially because of Capitec while some of my family members lost their jobs due to Covid-19.
