I am trying to apply for a Credit card with a credit limit as low as R5000-00. They refuse even a credit limit of R100-00! The idea is to use it only in emergencies. My common sense tells me that they are scared that I will not pay them back and they will lose money. Really??? My common sense also tells me that when I spend R100, Capitec can simply take their R100 back as soon as my salary is deposited into my bank account + they can earn interest. So they have everything to gain and nothing to lose. Common sense??? They just REFUSE to help! But yet, their Credit Card advertising campaigns are all over social media??? Why???
