Capitec Bank not so SAFE and easy way to bank

On the 2nd of September I noticed a debit order that went through my Capitec account for R900. I went to the bank (NORTHGATE BRANCH)for assistance, as I use my capitec account for month to month savings and pay small errands with it, I would not have debit orders on it as salary goes to another account. I am disappointed to say that the consultant just told me that the debit order was an aedo and they couldnt not reverse it. She proceeded to ask me if I had given my card to Insurance street marketers as they have card machines that take your details for sch transactions. I explained that I would not give my card or this particular account number for personal debit orders. She proceeded to call with no interest their head office which in turn gave her a number to call to get information on the company that debited my account. After trying to get through the number she eventually told me to write an email to the company and enquire if they would have the details of the company as Capitec does not have that company listed on the "list of debiting companies. All I asked her was "so you cant help me?" Her response was" Yes I cant help, you have to call /contact the third party yourself" My issues here are: - that a ********** activity happened in my account, my bank did not have any sense of urgency at all around my visit. - Capitec claims the following on their website, but I did not get any notification I have the app too mind you, then how did such a huge unusal debot order get approved :"You don’t have to approve a DebiCheck debit order every single time it goes off your account. This quick approval process happens when you sign up for a new contract and will help you to control who can debit your account and help reduce the problem of unwanted debits. Only if a DebiCheck mandate changes, will it need to be reapproved". - How safe is my money then? Does Capitec not monitor my account to prevent these ********** activities, I mean the Consultant treated me like it was my fault and I must not make it her problem, as she was more than happy to walk out of the bank just after me as it was closing time. What happend to customer care, could she note have atleast told me she will call the company and get the details the following day and that I should come back for feedback, that I WOULD have done with gladness, knowing that she wanted to help. I opened my account in 2010 and now I don't see how this is a "safe and easy way" to bank. If some company can just do an indisputable debit order against my account and i am told to go found out myself who and what they are.
