Capitec Bank - its 5 months! When will you help me?????

There aren't enough characters allowed for me to get into the detail but in summary: Capitec hasn't sent me statements for months and I had been paying in around R2K and R5K into the account monthly (way over the minimum amount) and suddenly my account was blocked and escalated to collections much to my horror. I have been into Sandton branch multiple times to get answers and have a fleet of emails backwards and forwards and no one is resolving the matter. The question is simple: please show me where those payments were allocated to. Once we establish that, IF there is anything outstanding on my card, I will settle immediately. They eventually sent statements but NONE of my payments have been allocated. Did the payments disappear into thin air?!? They are arrogant, unhelpful and quite honestly, useless. There is zero accountability. I now have had to engage with my lawyer because I have run out of options. If they cannot handle a simple request, I would hate to know how they handle large corporate accounts. Oh, did I mention this has been going on for FIVE months?!?!?!?!?!? Before Capitec took over Mercantile Bank, we never had these issues. In fact, I have spoken to employees who share the same sentiment!!!! Sorry Capitec, the PR around your success and rise in earnings blah blah blah is all a smokescreen. Or maybe that's why you have high earnings - because you rob and steeal from your customers. Shocking attitude, shocking service and shocking...well everything!
