CAPITEC BANK IS DESPERATE TO MAKE MORE MONEY...!

In 2018 I made a loan with and continued to pay as per agreement, in 2019 I could not pay it as I was unemployed for 3 months( Jan ,Feb and March) in April I resumed work and immediately went to them to make an arrangement and it was approved - I then started paying right after that and have been paying as per arrangement since then, in 2020 April during the lock down after interest rate was lowered, my wife got an sms to say I had been handed over for non payment .

When I went to Capitec they said they did not know why I was handed over, as the arrangement was made a year ago.

So be careful of CAPITEC ESPECIALY DURING THIS TIME OF THE ECONOMY.

How was this
matter resolved ?

It is very much interesting that I was never advised that I should make arrangements every month. - WHY WAS IS NOT INFORMED ?
It is also interesting that I was never informed that the minimum amount arranged falls below the acceptable or required threshold. WHY WAS I NOT INFORMED ?
But what is even more interesting is the fact that the handing over is done after the interest rate has been significantly lowered, and not in January - after the 3 months of non payment. WHY
