Capitec bank is a *****
I have been a client of Capitec for over 8 years now. They refuse to block a company that has been *****ulently debiting my account for over 7 months. I called Capitec and they said there’s nothing I can do, mind you my salary is paid into this account. Which means Capitec allows *****ulent transactions in our accounts

25 Sept 2025, 10:39That’s bull**** and you know it. Nobody is going to call me, nor will anybody assist me. I spent 20 minutes with a call centre agent who said there’s nothing she can do for me. Clearly it means that for as long as I continue banking with Capitec, I will be ****med.

25 Sept 2025, 10:42I am soo glad that as of next month my salary will be paid into Standard Bank and I will close this **** of an account with Capitec. If you are not ****ming people with funeral policy payouts, you are ****ming them by allowing *****ulent transactions.

25 Sept 2025, 15:22I just had another useless call from Capitec, somebody from their complaints department bull****ting me. She also said she will escalate to a specialist department. I don’t understand how a whole bank that I’ve been using for over 10 years has allowed a *****ulent company to debit my account for over 7 months without picking it up and when I raise it with my bank. They shove me from pillar to post. What a ****in joke, if this complaint was done by a white person Capitec would have solved it in minutes. Now they are dismissing me and invalidating my concerns.
