Capitec Bank International transfers

With Covid and international restrictions I have a friend that is in Thailand that needs money to be sent to them for day to day living and boarding expenses.

I tried to send them money but could not as the banking app and the banking website does not allow me to send to them as the drop down box does not have their bank. The bank is Bangkok Bank and I find it ridiculous that their is no option to send to major banks throughout the world. Capitec does not even have the basic to send also via Western Union to assist struggling friends/family. Now my friend is sitting in Thailand and cannot pay his accommodation so that he can get his passport to go back home.

Capitec you are a wonderful bank for us locals and when we travel overseas but please see if you can expand your transfer locations for the purpose I just described above
