Capitec bank funeral policy
Anyone considering taking out funeral insurance with Capitec bank should think twice... My uncle passed away due to a freak accident on a boat... we handed in all paperwork required and was told that the claim should be processed by Friday afternoon or early Saturday morning... My husband called yesterday and now they have a different story apparently now they first need to investigate before the claim with be processed so while they are investigating my uncle has to stay in the funeral parlours fridges while we were already warned that he can not lay there much longer.... And Capitec does not care... this funeral cover offered through Capitec will just leave your family with more worries and no way to bury you because they take their time!!!

My uncle needs to be cremated and you fools keep playing around instead of doing your job making a already hard situation much harder especially for his kids this is ****** ridiculous!!!!

27 Sept 2023, 09:43Kindly sort out what is going on with my uncle's policy surely half of the funeral policy is supposed to pay out as he has passed away!!!! He needs to be cremated his family can not even view him as he is decomposing already..... and you idiots keeps coming with different stories one consultant said the money will pay out today.... the other one said it will pay out in 3-5 days.... my family is fed up our patience has run out if this does not get sorted out today we will go to the newspapers and then we will consult our lawyers about sueing for false information and emotional damages for his kids.... This is ridiculous. Stop blaming the family when you idiots refused to tell us who the beneficiary is and I don't see why you could not start investigating after receiving all the other documents what's his daughters id got to do with the investigation into his accidental death????? Start doing your job or we are going to have a problem and you will very quickly realized that you are messing with the wrong family!!
