Capitec Bank Funeral Cover Underwriter - Siziwie Komanisi,

Dear Capitec Client Care Team, I am writing to formally request written clarification regarding the underwriter of my Capitec Funeral Plan. On 30 April 2026, I received my funeral policy documentation from Siziwie Komanisi. The policy document clearly states:

“Your Funeral Cover Plan is provided by Centriq Life Limited, a licensed life insurer and authorised Financial Services Provider (FSP 7370).”

Subsequently, I enquired via email about who the funeral policy underwriter is. In response, Siziwie Komanisi advised that the policy is underwritten by Capitec. I then requested clarity, as this response directly contradicts the information contained in the official policy document, which identifies Centriq Life Limited as the licensed insurer. Since seeking this clarification, I have received no further response.
