Capitec bank ***** Dpt. weldone

I made an online purchase from a site on fb. The total purchase price on the site from a company called "FOCUS NOVELTY PTY" suspiciously increased to more than a R100 when final payment was made. The invoice price vs the payment price differed. These red flags got me suspicious. The item I was buying was a 4 in 1 electric plug in to your vehicle jack and the price was fairly reasonable but not "too good to be true" scenario. So I was under the impression I was making an authentic purchase. As soon as a higher amount got paid from my bank I sent the merchant an email. 9 hrs later I contacted Ayola at Capitec ***** dept who was kind and friendly and logged a complaint. Within 24hrs Capitec reversed the payment to my account. Now this gives me confidence in my bank Capitec. My bank protected me. Their ***** policy assists their clients so long as one behaves responsible. NB: ***** is rife in SA so expect to hold for a bit. Someone will answer. I had to hold for a while before Mr Ayola answered. But once he did he was of great relief. Thank you Mr Ayola of Capitec ***** department and thank you Capitec Bank.
