Capitec Bank Customer Service is bot-driven.
Capitec Bank customer service IT is administered by bots which simply generates clichéd automatic responses. Forget about contacting or requesting any assistance via WhatsApp or email as advertised on Capitec Bank website. So much for Internet banking or communication. There is no human oversight, intervention or follow up. Capitec Bank is AI at its best. Customer Service run by Bots.

17 Mar 2023, 15:34I received an idiotic email response from Mickhaela Hope Africa, Capitec Bank to say that my email address could not be verified but yet she rep**** to my email!!!
She did not comprehend that I am in Namibia and that I cannot come into the branch!
Perhaps I should direct a request to SARS to do a forensic audit on Capitec Bank.
Her reply was unhelpful and illogical and a total waste of time. The unsuspecting public should be informed that Capitec Bank is unable to handle Internet queries and requests and that one has to go in person to a bank branch ( but that at the same same Capitec Bank authorizes ********** bank transfers) which is why I left Capitec Bank in the first place.
