Capitec Bank Complaints - Oscar De Villiers - The Worst Capitec Complaints Attendant (AKA Manager/Mr Capitec)

I have been dealing with Oscar De Villiers a complaints attendant with the title manager at Capitec. Below is my nasty experience with him in the past few months. Oscar is a very rude, arrogant and uniformed person who thrives on belittling and bullying clients for reasons best known to his ego. I would really love for one to listen to all his audios he has handled my queries. I have highted my concerns about this man and to date nooone has addressed my grievances with this man nor my concerns with the blunders this bank has put me through as a client.

The below is my experience with Oscar to a point l had to ask him to stop waking himself up but to handle my enquiry professionally.

...................................................................................................................................................................................................................
Good day

I have since spoken to Oscar De Villiers who has highlighted the below to me with regards to my query:

Oscar states that my credit facility was withdrawn because l am an irresponsible client who does not pay their account on time as per my responsibility as a Capitec Client.

I tried to highlight to him that when l spoke to the agent and also wrote to Capitec l highlighted the fact the a payment of + R2500 was supposed to go off my account as per the previous month but during the month of October this had not been the case and l wanted to know the reason why. The agent advised that l needed to go and physically make the payment at the branch. To this l wrote and called to advise that due to work commitments l could not physically go to the branch and hence Capitec needed to take this amount out from my account and again l advised of my time challenge.

My suggestions were not taken through and my credit facility was unfortunately withdrawn. However surprisingly this month, my account was debited of this outstanding amount.

Due to this withdrawal l escalated my call to the complaints department and happened to unfortunately again be assisted by Devilliers. Oscar addressed the first of my concerns which was the escalation of my loan amount and advised that a refund of the excess would be made to me.

I then proceeded to ask Oscar the reason why the facility has been withdrawn from me despite my making efforts to contact the bank to debit my account for the amount due. Oscar did not have an answer to my query. He however proceeded to still advise me that I was in other words an irresponsible person who could not pay their account on time and that he also found it strange that l could not make time in all the seven days of the week to physically go to the branch and make the payment.

My question to him which he still could not respond to was if he doesn't know the reason why the debit order was not done in the first place along with the loan payment then why am l being penalised for an incident that l tried to correct tephonically and via email.

De Villiers further insinuates that l will not be able to get this credit facility back because of the way l have conducted my account. My question is how have l conducted this account because the below are examples of Capitec's misconduct on account:
1. during the months of September and October Capitec refunded me of banks charges incurred on my Absa account due to numerous and unsolicited debit orders
2. during the month of December, Capitec is again going to do a refund into my savings account due to debiting my account with more than the agreed amount
3. on more than one occasion l had to ask Capitec to return the additional funds they had debited from my Capitec and Absa accounts again without my consent.

So its interesting to note that whilst l have endeavoured to pay my account on time to Capitec as per the set terms and conditions all your mishaps on the account have impacted on me negatively and without an apology from you nor an effort to learn from your mistakes.

De Villiers claims he is Capitec and on more than one occasion has taken it upon himself to talk down on me for reasons best know to him. When l noted that he was assisting with my complaint today after my last incident with him l was very uncomfortable.

De Villiers also advised me that his findings and adjudication were final and there was no further reason to address my concerns which l find rather unusual seeing that he did not even have answers to most of my queries and concerns.

I would really appreciate it if my concerns were noted and correctly addressed accordingly please.
