CAPITEC BANK ARE ******

Capitec insurance are ******. They made my fiancee take a funeral policy for an extended family member, which is her aunt who is her mother's cousin that they grew together. At the time of taking the policy, they asked her what is the relationship between her and the extended family member, and she said its her aunt. No further verification was made as to how is she her aunt, they just started taking her money. Now the aunt has passed away, and she has already been given duties to do with her policy contribution, now Capitec, yesterday after receiving her claim the previous Saturday, they called yesterday how is the deceased her aunt, and she told them, and later they declined her claim under the pretence that to them, her mother's cousin sister is not an aunt to her. It is funny that at the claim stage, the question they never asked at the inception of the policy, they ask at the claim stage, and they use it, as per the norm for all insurance policies, to find a way not to pay. As per the issue with Julius Mkhwa**** at the Madlanga Commission, he lost his mother, but later it was found out that she was actually his step mother not his biological mother, but the commission realized that we of Black culture do not call people that raised us steps or people that we grew up with cousins, but our own brothers and sisters. So it is actually ******** and strategic that at the time of the claim, Capitec has the audecity to want to know how thwe deceased is an aunt to her, when they never bothered to ask that before they deducted her money. This is so annoying from this bank.

Capitec Bank are ******

This is to notify the public that Capitec Bank is in a business to ***** clients with the aim of sucking their them knowing they will at the end reject their claims. This is evident on the fac that in my complaint, they had no shame to say their sales people are not suppose to explain the qualifying criteria for a member who wants to insure an extended family member, but at a claim stage they have a policy of investigating the relationship status they never explained. How do you investigate something you did not explain at the beginning if you are not in the business of *****ing people? Is Capitec so small and of no values that they can say to a client, "We do not explain the relationship status of our client's extended families at the policy admission stage, but at a claim stage we investigate. What would be the reason for that, how many people has Capitec de*****ed in this manner knowing when they claim they will just reject their claims as they did not know at the beginning> Moreover, a policy document is a confirmation of what was discused in the call, how is it valid if it contains information that was never discussed. Funny enough, Zee Mthiyane confirmed to my fiancee just an hour ago in a call that she is also aware that in a Black culture, your mom's cousin sister is your aunt, but then says according to their policy, it is not. So Capitec does have capacity of people that knows the extended family relationship stustus of our culture, but even so, decided not to inform potential clients what is applicable to them with the sole aim of chowing their hard earned monies and then reject their claims. This Zee Mthiyane called her at 12:24 from the number ***.

According to the Law of South Africa
Section 7(1)(a) of the General Code of Conduct provides that a FSP,
other than a direct marketer, must provide a reasonable and
appropriate general explanation of the nature and material terms of
the relevant contract or transaction to a client, and make full and
frank disclosure of any information that would reasonably be
expected to enable the client to make an informed decision.
Section 7(1)(c)(vii) of the General Code of Conduct provides that an
FSP, other than a direct marketer, must, at the earliest reasonable
opportunity, provide, where applicable, full and appropriate
information and concise details of any special terms or conditions,
exclusions of liability, waiting periods, loadings, penalties, excesses,
restrictions or circumstances where benefits will not be provided.
In terms of the common law, there is no general duty on a broker to
explain every clause of the policy to the insured. However, there is a
legal duty, not only to inform the insured of the existence of any
onerous policy conditions, but also to explain the importance of such
conditions to the client.
Upon renewal, the broker is also required to satisfy himself or herself
that there are no material changes to the policy or the insurable
interest. If there are, this needs to be conveyed to the client.
So this bank is in business by breaking the law of doing business knowingly and without shame, because they know they service people that would not know until they are *****ed.

Capitec Bank is in the business of robbing people, BE AWARE. Capitec Bank has no ethics.
