Capitec bank account hacked.

<p>My mothers bank account was hacked yesterday, due to someone doing an ******* sim swap on her phone. <br />The incident was immediately reported. The person was found, yet my mother still sits without her money, with the bank stating she must wait for 7-14 days to get her money back. In the mean time how does she live? </p> <p>This is ridiculous that she must now be out of pocket. She doesnt even understand how these people got into her account. <br />This is a traumatic experience and for Upington Capitec to not support her is really so disappointing. </p>
