Capitec Bank
I just want to say this morning I was at the bank and I'm in a family crisis and I just needed a copy of my ID and they must have it on the system and I've been banking with capitec for years and they don't want to help me Im not asking for some body else's things I'm asking for my own things you can see on the system it's me when u go in my account so all I needed was help to get a copy of my ID or then they must help me with a ID till I get paid then they can Take it off I need so thing to be done ASB and when I asked for help the said no then they will have to take me off the system so please I need something to be done ASB my number is ***

Unfortunately, for security and privacy reasons, we are not able to provide copies of ID documents or temporary IDs on behalf of clients. These documents need to be obtained through the Department of Home Affairs not the bank.
I understand this may be frustrating, especially given your situation. The branch was following the correct process to protect your personal information.
