Capitec appears to not care

My Father had Twenty Thousand ZAR taken out of his account. Someone who was or who was claiming to be from the Capitec Bank phoned and ****med him .... Now although there are warnings not to give out personal details or pin numbers etc. It still happened to an unsuspecting, not so tec savvy innocent, possibly more vulnerable than most, client. And on top of this the incident was reported almost immediately, within seconds! Capitec still did nothing to reverse it. Seriously in this day and age are you telling me nothing could be done? If it had happened to the owner of Capitec bank something would have been done! And nothing has been done in $ weeks? So now as a tax paying Octogenarian nobody really cares when you fall victim to scheisters who are younger and smarter , Is this how Capitec looks after its elderly clients? Was this an inside job? The person on the line certainly knew all the clients details! How did that happen? Is anyone actually dealing with this and sorting out this type of crime? Are there any protective measures in place? Or is this disease just left untreated? Could it just happen again next week? Or are 'they' the experts actually completely unable to fix it ? Then put other measures in place, a basic "delay" on funds transferred would work, its seriously not much more than higher grade stuff. Is this part of a ********** ****? Are Capitec staff entirely innocent in this whole Debacle?? Does Capitec care?
