Capitec and FNB bank

I'm so disappointed at Capitec and FNB for the way they treated me. So I mistakenly soaked my R100 note with my jeans and when saw it a bit late while I was trying to pull it out it got torn a bit so I let it dry and and taped it together I went to the shops to buy airtime unfortunately they didn't take it cuz they say it's damaged and advised I should take it to the bank. I went to FNB since I bank with them too they just said they won't take this money it's washed money I should go to Capitec they take it. Ok I went to Capitec I was told to deposit it into the atm if is goes through it means it's valid if it doesn't then there is nothing we can do. So I told them this money is damaged hence I'm bringing it here guys I would bring it is it was ok. They just said what they said and that was it. Now I'm thinking to myself do I just throw it away since there is no bank that's willing to help or what do I do?
