Capitec: Account ***,

I received an sms notification last night 1st December from capitec bank telling me that my access loan account is in arrears and that I must make immediate payment. But here's the thing, I have a debit order that comes off each month on the 28th but since my salary payment date has changed to the 25th of each month I transfer my payment over immediately in lieu of my debit order. My November payment was no different and I did the transfer early. So in my understanding I paid my account on time. So I did not understand the arrears part. When I called the client services line this morning 2nd December I spoke to the consultant who indeed acknowledged he could see my transfer on the 25th November with a transfer of R8300. He immediately updated it. My main concern at this moment was my credit score and asked him to please rectify this also as I was not sure if this was updated. The consultant went on to inform me that Capitec bank can not be held responsible for my credit score because the payment issue was not a system issue but mine. What load of BS is that Capitec so you don't care enough about your clients to ensure the credit score is correct even when their payments were in actual fact paid on time? I'm truly disappointed and very upset with this level of response to my matter. Capitec doesn't care!!
