can't open a savings account due to bureau FICA

i went to Capitec Rivonia branch to open a savings account, took along my id book and proof of residence .both my Id and Proof of residence have the same surname.

the gentleman who was helping me said that he can't continue with the account because my proof of residence in the Bureau is still showing my ****en surname , so i must bring the original marriage certificate if i want a savings account with capitec .

i have fica'd my address in another institution and i have never had of the story that i received today from capitec , What does Bureau and Fica have in common ?

i don't see myself going back to Capitec because i'm afraid that i might be told to bring along my Husband and his original documents in order to make sure that i'm really married , and married to him.
