Can I just withdraw my funds

I left the country South Africa in 2020 and relocated to Zimbabwe. I left some funds in my account. Later, after 2 years I tried to access my funds but my account was now restricted. I called Capitec international telephone line, and I was told that I need to come in person to resolve the matter. I eventually managed to come and went to South Africa and been to numerous branches but they won't assist me. The only thing I want is to withdraw my money and close the account as don't need it since I am permanently based in Zimbabwe now and I no longer need a South African bank account. Now I am being told I need a permit to be assisted. For me to have a permit I should be employed in South Africa and I'm not employed there anymore.i just need the money i worked for 5 years ago whilst holding a valid permit to work in South Africa. ive been in 6 different branches and it seems noone is competent enough to assist me. Please just help me withdraw my money and then you can officially close my account.I have already wasted a lot of time and money coming to South Africa after being advised by an *********** worker.
