Call from collections over payments I never miss.

Loan Account Number: ***

25 May 2016 11:06 I got a call from Ethan from Capitec Bank collections over missed payments they tried to collect on the 24th when I explicitly told them I get paid on the 25th. Now I have had a loan with Capitec for years now this is the first time I am getting a call over this blunder from them for a fault they made. I remember calling over this very thing and being told I should not worry the system will do this. Now I am told by Ethan that collection dates are set by what my employer tells them. Now my company banks with Nedbank I bank with FNB there will be a days delay here. I need my collection date changed from the 24th which will almost always bounce to the 25th. This is affecting my credit record because it makes it seem like I do not pay my bills. Capitec is the only debit order against my account that fails everytime because they collect on a day I am not paid.

After the exaplanation I got from you I stated I pay on the 25th you are telling me I have to be on special debits for the 26th unacceptable.

I'm taking you guys to the ombudsman i'm tired of tolerating this and being appeased with half measures.

Hi Bryun

Further to my written communication sent to your personal email address, I understand that you were unhappy with one of the options I provided you with to collect on the 26th of every month. It was not my intention to make you unhappy.

As an alternative resort, could I request you provide me with a bank statement for the past three months . This will enable us to investigate your specific debit order deductions in more detail, ensuring that we have captured your salary credit date correctly and that the pay rules of your employer has not changed.
