Hi my name is Eric on the 06 September 2022 I recieved a sum of R25 000 form my business partner Samuel Thapelo Motlhamme I only used 14 000 and the money was freezed last week i went to the Capitec branch with my partner who transferred me the money we did Affidavits but still capitec does not want to release my money. Please I worked hard for that money and nealy lost my business partner because of Capitec freezing our money without solid reason. Please I want my money am black poor and unemployed we are working as interior designers me and my partner so every time when our clients pay us via Capitec our money got frozen why? Or maybe you want us to recieve 350s because we are black?

09 May 2024, 20:12Even today I haven't recieved any help from Capitec the only thing I received it's a phone call from Capitec agent called David who was asking me why my funds are on hold and why I didn't report them for so long and I answered to him my brother am not working at capitec you are the one who should tell me why my money is on hold and my partner his the one who was supposed to query that money which he did so many times and at the end his money was finall unfreezed a his matte was closed so my money was also supposed to be removed on hold because it's a same money we received from our client. The agent (David) said to me I must stop going to Capitec bank branch, call or write emails if I want to call I must ask to speak to him directly so I dont understand how am I going to do that because they are so many Davids who work as capitec agents. Please help me, what's happening with Capitec guys??? Even at police station officers are complaining about Capitec bank they say most of bank Affidavits are for Capitec.
