Breach of agreement - DO NOT TRUST THEM

<p>Had an agreemnet with Capitec Bank called a "Credit Facility" - previously known as multi loan. Agreement is for 6 months and after 6 months you have to go back to branch and renew your agreement. Recieved a notification via SMS on 18/10/2016 stating that this facility will close on the 25/10/2016. When i tried to acces the facility on the 20/10/2016 it had already been closed. Called the helpline and explained the scenario and was informed multiple times that this cannot be activated over the phone, only at the branch. My main issue is that Capitec breached our agreement and is in no way willing to assist. The onus is now once more placed on the consumer to fix the problem by taking time off from work or wasting his/her weekend off time to go and fix the providers mistake. Furthermore, one would not have an issue with this if other options are available, but clearly i had no freakin other option. I have been a client for 5 years and have had multiple short term loans which i paid off effectively, but since this is Capitec's Modus Operandi, i will have to close my account and shift business to FNB or any other reputible bank. Lastly and most astonishing... On the 30/09/2016 i recieved an SMS from them stating that my loan is now "R3.53" overdue and that I should speak to an agent :to keep a good and healthy credit record". I kid you not. Recieving a nicely worded threat over R3.53, which ones more when speaking to the agent was a confirmed mistake from their side as I was lucky enough to have the R3.53 in my bank account. Just... Whatever.</p>
