I just have a huge problem with how backwards Capitec is in general. I needed to change my surname in order for me to claim UIF but was unable to because I didn't have a permanent ID but rather a temporary one and a marriage certificate, I advised countless time that the Home Affairs was not issuing any permanent IDs due to the lockdown and was merely told by your consultants that I needed to wait until home affairs did issue them, meaning go hungry and not claim UIF due to the backwardness of Capitec. As a result I had to go and open a new account with another bank. Adjust to the times.
