Beware of Capitec!

I have an access facillity with capitec bank. i was recently retrenched and i approached capitec to arrange an agreement while i was looking for new employment. they suggested i apply for retrenchment insurance and not long after, i received the message saying my insurance application was successfull and that my installments will be covered for the next two years or untill i find new employment. i was relieved and had one less thing to worry about while being unemployed. i was in for a big surprise. my installments for end of september and end of october was covered i thought - all false promises and lies. they were not covered and capitec listed me as a non payer on itc!! i recently found employement and informed capitec last week wednesday. i also adressed this issue and wanted a solution on why they **** about my retrenchment insurance and why the listed me if i was apparently covered because of retrenchment. I havent heard from them ever since. today i got a call from them asking me why im not paying my installments! i asked that they look on the system why. "o there we go, "i see you app**** and was successfull with retrenchment insurance and i see you were retrenched!!" this bank does not its head from its backside! in a difficult time where i was retrenched, capitec kicked me while i was down. very nice from this bank that ive been with for many years! its absolutely disgusting! firstly getting retrenched is harsh and then to top it all off, your bank lies to you and kicks you while you are down. all this while i was responsible, upfront and pro active to approach capitec so im not listed on itc, they know why i cant pay my installments for a short while and im not seen as an irresponsible customer! be very very carefull of this bank. they do not give one inch about their customers, they lie and they will nail you to the floor without batting an eyelid, stay away from this horrible bank!
