Bank service***2
good day,
on the 21/04/2018 i made the transfer of R700.00 from my Capitec account to an a wrong account( which was suppose to go to my sister using the bank account number) number which happened to be an Absa Bank account number, about 20 minutes later i called my sister asking if she got the money, when she said no i then doubled check the details and realised i sent to the wrong account. i immediately went to the nearest branch CNR Sophie De Bruin and WF Nkomo Pretoria to report the incidents and asking them to reverse the funds. it was Saturday and because i knew that funds takes up to 48 hours to reflect from a different bank, i was sure that if my query gets attendant rite away i will get the money back. apparently the query was "lodge" and i was to get feedback in 7 days, on the 25/04/2018 my account got debited by R131.14 as the RECALL FEE INCIDENT # ********** 2, when i could get any call or SMS regarding my query i then we back to the branch on the 09/05/2018 to find out what was the feedback. i was told the person received the money spent it and refusing to pay and if i really want my money i must go claim it as Absa small claims. i got so disturbed because if i went there few days after the mistake i will understand. my question is: all Capitec client that makes mistake end up losing their money? Can't Capitec reversed the funds if asked to? did they really try to reverse those funds after i asked them? and why no body borderd to give me the feedback after their TAT as said and if i never got my money back or Feedback why was i charged the "recall fee" please help me in this regards
