Bank **********

I am writing with regards to the money that was ****** in my account. I have received an sms on the 2nd of March telling me that my Vodacom number has been potted to MTN. I then called Vodacom immediately and they told me that it is true and they'll reverse it back to it's origin but it will take 5 working days. I then received a call later from a guy claiming he's a Vodacom service provider, he told me that I must switch off my phone for two hours so that the process of potting back to Vodacom may take place, it was late after work. I did as he asked and then I went to work the following day thinking maybe my phone is back to normal, the challenge is they don't allow cellphones at work, I couldn't monitor my phone until one of my colleague told me that I should go and check if I still have money in my account since the ********** uses the same methods. I then called capitec to check my balance and I was told that all of my money is gone and I was told to open the case in Hilbrow police station and I did that. Later that day I received a case number and I submitted it to capitec. On Friday later at around 16:40 I received sms that I should go to the nearest bank and ask them to contact Zubayr with the reference ********** 5. I went to the bank on Monday morning since Zubayr was not working on weekend. They contacted Zubayr and he told me that he is done with the case and I am not going to get my money back and he said the reason for this is that he thinks that I have planned this whole things and he thinks that I gave the guy that called me all my details. Please help me on how to deal with this kind of issue

I did receive an email from Capitec but I am still not happy with the feedback as I have mentioned before that I have never gave anyone my details. The guy called only asked if I am the owner of that number and requested me to switch my phone off. I don't know how the investigations was conducted but I don't know If it is possible for you to retrieve the recording of our conversation from Vodacom on that day. I don't give information on the phone more especially if they are asking for my banking details or ID number. It is clearly that this person had my information with him or it was an inside job.
