Bank don't want to refund

Good evening Dear Sir/ madame.My name is Bernadine Van Eeden.Cell number *** .Ive been paying for 7months a policy of Cornelius Maritz which died on the 12th of July 2023policy number CF ***9 .i went to the bank to take him of they didn't want to they said I must have proof of a death certificate.i waited till the end of February 2024 and took the certificate to them .when I got payed the cover went off again l went back to them they stopped it eventually.but the manager said they not refunding me the money that I've payed in while he was already dead I don't want the policy money I just want the money I paid after he died .I was at the bank on the 13th of July 2023 to stop it they only stop it last month but refuse to refund me As I'm a pensioner .and have none taking care of me so I can't let other people ***** from me Hope you can help me .
