Bank charges for unpaid debits

In March 2018 I switched my salary payment from ABSA bank to Capitec. They promised to do all the switching of my debits. At the end of the month no debit went through but instead they debited from the older bank which had no funds. I got charged per return unpaid debit equating to R1800.

I then went back to Capitec to ask what the problem might have been because I could have done switching myself but they voluntarily offered to do that for me. I asked them to reimburse me the money I had to pay for the returned unpaid debits. They promised to send the complaint with motivation for reimbur*****t to their head office and advised me to wait.

I went back for follow up on the 2nd week of May (2 months). They told me they are still investigating. I am now failing to understand the bank invstigation that takes over two months and still no progress on a simple matter with all evidence that could answer all their questions such as print out from my old bank with all debits, payment I made, Capitec bank statement showing their processes, staff that helped me to do the switching on the day.

Peter please kindly help me, I need my reimbur*****t asap.
